Senior Scientist, Signaling Pathway - CD BioSciences

Job Description

We are seeking senior scientists with a specialty in signaling pathway regulators-related drug discovery, development and manufacturing, especially in the area of apoptosis & cell death, diabetes & metabolism, cancer & tumorigenesis, growth & development, immunology & inflammation, and proteostasis & UPR.

Candidates are expected to have extensive work experience in relevant pharmaceutical companies/CROs.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the research team in signaling pathway regulators-related drug/therapeutics development.
• Obtain in-depth knowledge of the disease targets of interest.
• Supervise, mentor and cross-train other scientists within the drug development group.
• Troubleshoot and remove issues hindering the successful development of drug/therapeutics.
• Present project plans and ongoing progress regularly.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology or biochemistry is preferred. Ph.D. in other related fields is also considered.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in relevant pharmaceutical companies/CROs.
• Proficiency in signaling pathway research and drug development.
• Proven ability in project design and management, and capable of leading an R&D team independently.
• Ability to multitask and contribute in a challenging intellectual environment.
