Target Information
Target Name CCL3L1/LD78 beta
Gene Abbr. CCL3L1
Gene ID 414062
Full Name C-C motif chemokine ligand 3 like 3
Alias 464.2, D17S1718, G0S19-2, LD78, LD78-beta(1-70)
Introduction This gene is one of several cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. This protein binds to several chemokine receptors including chemokine binding protein 2 and chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 5 (CCR5). CCR5 is a co-receptor for HIV, and binding of this protein to CCR5 inhibits HIV entry. The copy number of this gene varies among individuals; most individuals have 1-6 copies in the diploid genome, although rare individuals have zero or more than six copies. The human genome reference assembly contains two full copies of the gene and a partial pseudogene. This record represents the more telomeric full-length gene.
Product Details
Host Rabbit
Clonality Polyclonal
Clone No. N/A
Isotype IgG
Immunogen This protein-A purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a recombinant protein raised in yeast, corresponding to the 70 amino acids of the mature porcine CCL3L1 protein.
Usage
Application WB, ELISA
Dilutions Western Blot (1 µg/mL); ELISA (1:100-1:2000)
Reactivity Porcine, Bovine, Human, Rat, Primate, Bovine, Canine, Feline
Specificity This antibody is specific for swine CCL3L1 protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with CCL3L1 from bovine sources based on 100% identity with the immunizing sequence. Partial reactivity is expected against CCL3L1 from cat, dog, human, chimpanzee, baboon, bovine, and rat based on greater than 90% sequence homology. Cross-reactivity with CCL3L1 from other sources has not been determined.
Storage & Handling
