Vigna radiata Lectin (VRA) - Separopore® 6B SuperTrap™ Cartridge

Affinity purified VRA agglutinated rabbit blood cells with galactose specificity. The amino acid analysis of purified mung bean lectin by RP-HPLC showed that it contained the most glutamic acid, followed by aspartic acid and histidine, and had a good zinc-binding potential. A lectin that combines VRA with zinc to improve overall stability and efficacy. The crosslinked 6B SeparoporeA ® is appropriately coupled to Vigna radiation lectin (VRA) to provide a fast-flowing filter cartridge that can capture the affinium-bound material and retain it during washing, then elute the affinium-purified material.
