Description

The VRA agglutinated rabbit blood cells are isolated with galactose specificity. The amino acid analysis of purified mung bean lectin by RP-HPLC showed that it contained the most glutamic acid, followed by aspartic acid and histidine, and had a good zinc-binding potential. A lectin that combines VRA with zinc to improve overall stability and efficacy.
