Description

The V-ATPase subunit VHA-a1 is a subunit of the membrane integral Vo subunit. VHA-a1 targets V-ATPase to Arabidopsis trans-Golgi network/Earle endosomes (TGN/EE). This enzyme is involved in the acidification process of various parts of eukaryotic cells. This protein is encoded by the VHA-a1 gene AT2G28520. Nicknames: vacuole H(+) -ATPase a1 subunit, V-ATPase 93 kDa subunit.
