Description

TPS1(trehalose 6-phosphate synthetase 1), EC=2.4.1.15 is an enzyme necessary for normal embryonic development, vegetative growth, and the transition to flowering. It is involved in the regulation of glucose perception. It is expressed in seedlings, leaves, roots, stems, flowers and leaf sheaths. Up-regulated during seed development.
