Description

This lectin binds oligomers of n-acetylglucosamine and some bacterial cell wall oligosaccharides containing n-acetylglucosamine and n-acetylaminoacetic acid. While the binding specificity of carbohydrates is similar to that of wheat germ lectins and mandala lectins, some differences between potato lectins and other lectins have been reported.
