Sambucus nigra Lectin (SNA/EBL I+II) - AP (Alkaline Phosphatase)

Cat: PL00546
Size: 2 mg
Sugar Specificity: Sialic Acid
Datasheet:

Description

Alkaline phosphatase (AP) binds to black Sambucus nigra lectin (SNA/EBL I+II), which has been shown to bind SNA/EBL I+II in a variety of applications such as Western blotting and ELISA. Alkaline phosphatase is a large protein (140 kDa) that catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphate groups in the substrate to produce color or fluorescent products. The optimal enzyme activity of this protein is between pH 8 and 10, and its reaction rate remains linear with increased sensitivity over time.
