NCBI Summary
Encodes PGRL1A, a transmembrane protein present in thylakoids. PGRL1A has a highly homologous isoform PGRL1B encoded by At4g11960. Plants lacking PGRL1 show perturbation of cyclic electron flow, similar to PGR5-deficient plants. PGRL1 and PGR5 interact physically and associate with PSI (photosystem I).

UniProt Comments
Ferredoxin-plastoquinone reductase involved in cyclic electron flow (CEF) around photosystem I. The homodimer is probably not involved in CEF.
