Lotus tetragonolobus Lectin (LTL) - Texas Red

Cat: PL00031
Size: 2 mg
Sugar Specificity: α-Fucose
Datasheet:

Description

Texas Red is a red fluorescent dye that, when bound to Lotus tetragonosus lectin (LTL), displays the binding pattern of this lectin in cellular imaging applications. There is little overlap between the emission spectra of Texas Red and FITC, which makes this combination ideal for dual labeling experiments. Rhodamine dyes, such as Texas Red, are more photostable and less sensitive to pH changes than other dyes such as fluorescein.
