Description

LEA(Late Embryogenetic Abundance) proteins are very hydrophilic proteins that are described 25 years ago as proteins that accumulate late in plant seed development. It is found in vegetative plant tissue after exposure to environmental stress. Synonym: Presumed late-embryogenetic rich protein LEA.
