Required for the chloroplast avoidance response under high intensity blue light (PubMed:20418504, PubMed:27310016). Mediates redundantly with CHUP1 the nuclear avoidance response under high intensity blue light (PubMed:27310016). May act as a mitotic kinesin (PubMed:15247388). Probably involved in division plane determination (PubMed:16461285).
