Description

Internal hydrolysis of the (1,3) -β-D-glucoside bond in (1,3) -β-D-glucan. One unit of endo1, 3-β-D-glucanase activity is defined as the amount of enzyme required to release 1µmol of glucose-reducing sugar equivalent per minute in the presence of laminate (10mg /mL) at a sodium acetate buffer (100 mm), pH 5.0, 40°C.
