UniProt Comments
E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that mediates ubiquitination of ACC synthases (ACS). Negatively regulates ethylene biosynthesis probably via ubiquitin-dependent degradation of ACS4 and ACS7 enzymes. Regulates lateral root formation and development by controlling ethylene production which inhibits lateral root formation at high concentration.
