Western blot has been done on 10-50 µg load per well; immunoprecipitation has been done on 5-50 µl
CDJ1 is one of the three zinc-containing finger domain proteins of Chlamydomonas rheinacea. This protein is found in chloroplasts. Although the CDJ1 gene is heat-shock induced, it is not reflected in increased levels of the CDJ1 protein. CDJ1 forms complexes with the malleable HSP90C, HSP70B and CGE1, and is a new cohort protein of chloroplast polychaperone complex. The DnaJ/Hsp40(Heat shock Protein 40) protein is highly conserved and plays a crucial role in protein translation, folding, unfolding, translocation and degradation.
